JW Vitalone has more than 25 years’ equity research and investment banking experience involving all segments of the oil and gas industry. To date he has advised small and mid-sized upstream oil and gas, oil service, and natural resource companies on M&A and financing transactions totaling more than $1.7 billion. Mr. Vitalone earned an MBA from the Saunders College of Business at the Rochester Institute of Technology as well as a JD from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. He interned at the European Economic Commission in Brussels as a Charles A. Dana Fellow for International and Comparative Legal Studies. In 2001, JW was chosen to participate in the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) business mentor program and traveled to Vladivostok, Russia where he counseled a local investment bank on business valuation best practices. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds FINRA licenses Series 7, 63, 79, 86, and 87.
